1. Who we are

This website is operated by Innovate Software, Hoofdweg 190 D, 3067 GJ Rotterdam, The Netherlands (KvK 68867239, BTW NL002478489B83). For the personal data described in this policy we are the data controller.

2. What we collect and why

Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
You visit the website	Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, recorded by our hosting provider in server logs	To deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. Basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
You email or phone us directly	Whatever you choose to tell us	To deal with your request. Basis: legitimate interest, or steps at your request before a contract.

You are never required to give us personal data, but we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to reply to you.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it does not load third-party scripts, fonts or embedded content. For that reason there is no cookie banner. If we add any of these in future, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle email, and they process data only on our behalf:

Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps) hosts the website and the function that receives the contact form.
Google (Gmail) delivers the contact-form message to our inbox.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses, as offered by each provider.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Contact-form messages and the email conversation that follows: while we are dealing with your enquiry, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, the records we must keep for tax and contract purposes are kept for the legally required period (generally 7 years for financial records).
Server logs: kept by the hosting provider for a short period, according to its own retention settings.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form sends your message from our server to our mailbox; it is not stored in a database on the website. Access to our mailbox is restricted to Innovate Software.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
give you your data in a portable format, where it applies;
stop using your data where we rely on our legitimate interest, by objecting.

Write to info@innovatesoftware.nl. We will answer within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully you can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.

8. Our AI agent products

This policy covers this website only. When we build or run an AI agent, chat or voice service for a client, the client decides why and how their customers' data is used, and we process that data on the client's behalf under a data processing agreement. Questions about such a service are best put to the business that provides it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
